Michał Starosolski, Ph. D. – Profesor Assistance at the Medical University of Silesia, Department of Emergency Medicine. Emergency Medicine Specialist, working in Voivodeships Hospital Trauma Center and Stroke Center Level 1 at the Emergency Department and Emergency Medical Services on Ambulance in Government Voivodeships Hospital. An active member of Water Rescue Services, Rescue Diver (Groups of Special Divers of the Republic of Poland). Coordinator in International Medical Training Center for National Association of Emergency Medical Technician (NAEMT) and American Heart Association (AHA), American Heart Association (AHA) Faculty Instructor of Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Active Instructor for disciplines Basic Life Support (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHAH), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (NAEMT) and Basic Medical Simulation (EuSim), Advanced Medical Simulation (EuSim).

Since 2015, I have worked with the International Ice Swimming Association in Poland, where I was responsible for the safety of swimmers and rescue issues.
Vice-president of the Safety Committee of the International Ice Swimming Association and Ice Swimming Adventure.
